I want to share a problem which I have phased during working in windows application in .net. on windows 7 operating system.
When you make a windows application and you run the exe file ,when you will close the exe a warning message window will appear "This program might not have installed correctly".
There are following steps to solve the problem
1.Go to the start menu and type “services.msc” in the search box then press enter.
2.A new window “Services” will be displayed. A lots of services are listed in this window. Search for “Program Compatibility Assistance Service” in the list. Right click on this service and select “Stop“.
3.Now again right click on “Program Compatibility Assistance Service” and select “Properties“.
4.A “Program Compatibility Assistance Service Properties” window will appear. Under “General” tab in the “Startup type” section, click on the drop-down menu and select “Disabled“.
5.Now the Program Compatibility Assistant is disabled. To get effect restart your computer.
